Happy Boss’s Day

… to all of you who are bosses.

And all who are fortunate enough (like I am–and I’m not just saying this because Kelly’s gonna read it) to have a great boss–today is when we’ll find a way to say thank you. Graciously, like this:

Enthusiastically, for the superhero we look up to and aspire to become:

Research says that the immediate supervisor affects a person’s job satisfaction more than any other factor. This one little word describes a person with a lot of power and influence over your life!

The best boss, I think, is a mentor who helps you learn, criticizes your efforts fairly, is good at his or her job so that you can safely emulate them, and is fun to work with!

But this is a rare breed, so if you have a great boss, make sure you let them know today how much you appreciate it!
