It’s Spring: Ads and Designs for the Season
May 24, 2011 2 Comments
Somewhat like fashion, advertising sees seasonal trends. We get deluged with orders right before the holiday season, for example, and we wrote about Easter-themed advertising last month.
Now that it’s spring, our designers are working on ads and designs that reflect the change in season: so more of outdoor activities such as gardening and soccer, and lots of blue skies and flowers, and of course, no more snow.
The copy is direct and to the point, that big fish should tempt ardent fishermen and women, and that blue sky is so inviting now I want to go on holiday.
This ad makes me want to move out of my apartment and live in a house with a garden, where birds can come calling. I’m already imagining myself sitting on the grass with a book. All I have is pigeons nesting on my balcony and making it unusable.
But (unlike me) if you have one of those large gardens, you might want to use a tree service and have your trees looking as fresh as spring . . .Or a landscaping service, to get your family a garden that neighbors will envy!
Tell me what you think of these ads. Which one do you like most (or least)?
You guys did all those ads? Very nice. I love the Embark ad. Very well done.
Why, thank you!
